Albuquerque's Nia community is excited to have created an exceptional movement and dance studio for Nia and related barefooted movement arts.
We opened our doors in September 2007 and celebrated our second anniversary and the birth of Studio Sway, LLC in September 2009.
Vision and Mission
Our vision is to create a pleasing and safe place to offer classes, workshops and events in The Nia Technique™ and other movement forms that inspire our community to find health and wellness. We envision a financially stable, self-supporting studio where we can rent space, working both independently and cooperatively. Our mission is to support the growth of teachers, students and community by providing a space in which instructors offer a variety of classes, workshops and events. We work independently and cooperatively.
